“Skeleton Song is another short story in the Wayward Children series, but unlike the last one, we are entering a new world that we’ve only heard about: Mariposa.
I’m definitely partial to this story because while it left me wanting more, I still really enjoyed it! I loved seeing more about Christopher’s world and hope we get a full-length novel soon. I think I expected a slightly more “Wicked” world in Mariposa, but still genuinely enjoyed all the characters and the lore.
I gave this a 4/5 because Christopher is one of my favorite characters and I’ve been HUNGRY for his backstory. I really really hope we get more of his story sooner than later.”Start a Book Club
