Sisters' Fate
By Jessica SpotswoodPublisher Description
The stunning conclusion to the Cahill Witch Chronicles trilogy, for fans of Deborah Harkness's A Discovery of Witches series
A fever ravages New London, but with the Brotherhood sending suspected witches straight to the gallows, the Sisters are powerless against the disease. They can’t help without revealing their powers—as Cate learns when a potent display of magic turns her into the most wanted witch in all of New England.
To make matters worse, Cate has been erased from the memory of her beloved Finn. While she’s torn between protecting him from further attacks and encouraging him to fall for her all over again, she’s certain she can never forgive Maura’s betrayal. And now that Tess’s visions have taken a deadly turn, the prophecy that one Cahill sister will murder another looms ever closer to its fulfillment.

“I'm so delighted by how this has ended. I did not expect to love these books so much when I started reading the first one.
To me, this one is a masterpiece, I mean, I could keep on re-reading it for months before getting bored. And that is because it is so well written and developed.
And yes, I think there may be a few spoilers.
Firstly, Finn and Cate's relationship. I'm so sad and happy about that. I just would have wanted him to say he loved her but at same it felt so right that he did not. It is so according to Finn to want it to mean it truly and be sure of it, I think I only ended up shipping them even more.
One of the things I liked the most in the book was how well explained was the situation within the Sisterhood, with the Brothers, with the Resistance. I loved it was not just the typical book in which the girl saves the world and that's all. I think the author's opinion is pretty clear throughout the whole book, in this one more than the others.
ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE SO AMAZINGLY DEVELOPED AND THOUGHT AND REAL AND EVERYTHING I JUST
But seriously, Merriweather, Rilla, Inez, Alice, EVERYONE just fits perfectly and all of them are really really well portrayed. Merriweather is one of my favourite characters.
Maura and Tess. With all the pressure she had upon her, I kind of thought Tess was more of a victim sometimes, but she proved me wrong at the end, she is just as powerful as her sisters. And Maura... THIS IS LIKE THE HUGEST SPOILER SO, I'M JUST WARNING. I hated her so much at the end of Star Cursed. I hated her, and wanted Cate to get rid of her. But how does this author get us to hate a character so passionately and then make us cry over her death? I could not believe it, I was so sad, it even seemed unfair.
Finally Cate. Cate is now definitely one of my favourite protagonists ever. I even felt proud of her at some point. I liked how at certain moments she felt lost, desperate, lonely but never gave up on the Sisterhood. I liked how dark she became, how she let her emotions and desire for revenge and death take over her, and then control them again. I loved how she wanted to be better, not only moved by guilt or obliged, but for a real sense of duty and for what was the right thing to do.
She is a character worth being admired.
Congratulations to the author of course, for creating such an amazing story.”
