Sister, Maiden, Monster

By Lucy A. Snyder
Sister, Maiden, Monster by Lucy A. Snyder digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

“Absolutely recommended for readers of the cosmic and gloriously horrific.” ―Seanan McGuire, New York TImes bestselling author

Sister, Maiden, Monster
is a visceral story set in the aftermath of our planet’s disastrous transformation and told through the eyes of three women trying to survive the nightmare, from Bram Stoker Award-winning author Lucy A. Snyder.

A virus tears across the globe, transforming its victims in nightmarish ways. As the world collapses, dark forces pull a small group of women together.

Erin, once quiet and closeted, acquires an appetite for a woman and her brain. Why does forbidden fruit taste so good?

Savannah, a professional BDSM switch, discovers a new turn-on: committing brutal murders for her eldritch masters.

Mareva, plagued with chronic tumors, is too horrified to acknowledge her divine role in the coming apocalypse, and as her growths multiply, so too does her desperation.

Inspired by her Bram Stoker Award-winning story “Magdala Amygdala,” Lucy A. Snyder delivers a cosmic tale about the planet’s disastrous transformation ... and what we become after.

At the Publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.

“This book was split into 3 parts and tbh imo they got worse with each one and were unevenly spread. I think part one was the best with the most detail but took up 50% of the book. I don’t really know the purpose of having 2 more POVs. The second one was VERY SEXUAL but also violent. It was pretty gross. I knew this was coming and thats fine. It had the intended impact on me i just don’t really know what the point was in switching to her character. But she still had interesting plot points. Part three was just… boring. So slow. Dragged on. We went back to a character we vaguely knew from the first POV and resaw some of what happened but from her pov which was fine initially. But then it kinda went into a weird virgin mary story which could have been interesting but? Idk it didn’t feel like it was sewed into the previous plots and was a bit of a stretch. So a bit of a shame really coz it could have been really interesting but i think they should have incorporated the three POVs earlier and change every chapter or so instead of in three parts? It might have made more sense in that way or just stuck with one of them as the main point of view”
