Siren by Tara Moss digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

Completely entertaining from beginning to end,” this crime thriller features a maverick female private investigator who finds herself hunted by a hit man (Hugh Jackman, Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award–winning actor).

The daughter of a cop with a degree in forensic psychology, Makedde Vanderwall is no ordinary PI. Though her love life is all over the place, her crime instincts are on the mark. But while trying to help a widowed mother track down her young son, Mak finds herself dancing once more with the wealthy, criminal Cavanaughs, one of Australia’s richest and most ruthless families. Mak isn’t about to let them get away with murder. But with her six-foot-tall model looks, she’s also not the kind of woman who can hide easily from a hit man. . . .

“Makedde Vanderwall ranks up there as [a] contemporary Aussie literary icon.” —The Daily Telegraph

“Mak is the female equivalent of Jack Reacher.” —Joanne Harris, New York Times–bestselling author of Chocolat
