Sins and Needles
ByPublisher Description
From the New York Times bestselling author of A Ship of Bones and Teeth comes a spicy, dark romance about a woman on the run for fans of Katee Robert and Sophia Lark.
Ellie Watt is a woman on the run. After making the mistake of falling for a vicious mob boss, she hopes to find refuge at her uncle's farm in quiet Palm Valley, California. Ellie swears she's through with her life of crime. But before she knows it, she's right back in the game when she meets an easy mark who's too good—and too hot—to be true.
Master tattoo artist Camden McQueen is nothing like the awkward kid who crushed on Ellie back in high school. Now, as the owner of the wildly successful Sins & Needles, he's got tats to kill for, muscles to die for, and money to burn. Ellie can't believe the transformation—and can't resist pulling off one last con. But when Camden catches Ellie red-handed, the tables are turned. The mark becomes the master. And when the ultimate player gets played, you never know who's going to end up on top . . .

“3.5⭐️
Interesting, twisty story of a con artist on the run from her drug lord exboyfriend, who runs home to a tiny town where people only know who she used to be, except for the her childhood best friend; a tattoo artist who has his own troubles with a different set of mob like people… so why not use eachother to escape their troubles?! Oopsie they fell back in love!
Spoilers below:
Knowing this is a series, but not having the next book at the ready, I’m salty at the conclusion of this book! Ellie sacrificing herself for Ben was admirable, but annoying! I need the next book, and if cam doesn’t go get her I’m gonna rage!
🌶️/5
