About Kevin Smith
Kevin Smith sold his comic book collection to fund Clerks, and after the film became a huge hit he was able to buy them back. Smith was the producer of the Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting and has also written and directed Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl, Clerks II andZack and Miri Make a Porno. He is also a comic book writer, and author. His previous book for Titan, My Boring-Ass Life: The Uncomfortably Candid Diary of Kevin Smith, was a New York Time bestseller.
