“Ship Breaker does a lot with a very simple approach. It's thematically dense, l9aded with interesting characters, and embraces its setting without being obsessed with explaining it. It deftly walks the line between YA and adult sci-fi, with the "sci" part being little more than a indicator for its worldbuilding, which keeps the story moving at a brisk pace.”
