“I had high hopes for this one, but unfortunately, it was a struggle to get through. The first three-quarters of the book felt lifeless as if the author was simply going through the motions rather than putting real care into the storytelling. The pacing dragged, and the characters lacked depth, making it hard to stay engaged.
It wasn’t until the final quarter that things finally picked up. Suddenly, there was energy, purpose, and a glimpse of what the book could have been all along. It was frustrating because it proved that the author could deliver compelling moments—but they seemed disinterested for most of the journey.
Overall, it had potential, but it felt neglected. If the entire book had the same momentum as the last part, it could have been great. Instead, it was mostly a tedious read with a brief, fleeting reward at the end.”SGMoon
