“First book of the year and the book that took me out of a long reading slump!
It was entertaining and very atmospheric. Gothic-like atmosphere, which is what I wanted.

“This was my first Holmes mystery and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I loved everything from the winter and Gothic castle haunting vibes, the simplicity and pacing makes it easy to read, and the characters are all very identifiable by the end.
