“Just as I enjoyed the first book I enjoyed the second. I tend to dislike romance in stories but this was just enough, just the fleeting affection between children nothing more, nor did it try to make it more. Shalla is still insufferable for her naivety, arrogance and hopefulness. I was quite upset with the death of the little boy and I wish we could've seen more of the inner workings and politics of the academy.”
