“Clean romance with a Christian overtone. TW - Abandonment. Meg is raising her three nieces and nephew. She is also trying to run a bed and breakfast her sister had left as well as work part-time as a physical therapist. Her ex-boyfriend, Tucker, comes to town to be low key and heal his injury from bull riding. Can they get along to get him healed? Can she forgive him for leaving? This was a great story and characters. I feel for the children. I really enjoy stories with rodeo characters. I liked the story line and the way they work through things. Meg's wariness will get to you. I definitely can understand where she is coming from. Good book to read. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.”
“My Rating: 4 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tropes: Second chance romance, caretaking, friends to lovers, single parent My Review: I really loved getting to revisit the adorable small town of Whispering Slopes again. Jill Weatherholt is becoming one of my new favourite Love Inspired authors. The characters she creates are so dimensional and all feel like old friends. Luke and Meg had such a sweet and emotional romance, they grew so much as individuals as they each worked past their hurt and misunderstandings. It was a wonderful second chance romance, which is a trope I don’t always tend to enjoy but felt it worked really well in this story. I adored the B&B with Miss Mattie and the amazing descriptions of the scenery. The triplets were also a sweet addition to the story. Even though this was a faith based romance, it didn’t come off as overly preachy. The only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was the miscommunication regarding the letter that Luke had written, the one Meg didn’t read. I didn’t quite understand why she didn’t just tell him she didn’t read it when he kept bringing it up. I felt it caused more hurt and a deeper misunderstanding than needed. I can’t wait to read more from Jill! If you love inspirational, emotional and impactful romances, I highly suggest you give this book a chance.”
“If you enjoy reading books that include first loves getting a second chance, a set of triplets, and more, this book captured my attention. Meg Brennan finds herself a mother of triplets and a bed and breakfast. Her first love, Luke Beckett returns to town to recover from a bull riding accident. I loved the interactions between the triplets and the others around them. This book made me laugh and enjoy the antics of the children. I definitely recommend it. I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own”
