“As a horror/sci-fi/action lover when I saw this at my local bookstore I knew I had to read it. It was everything I expected. Good storyline with a lot of amazing scenes. The author generated some very intense moments throughout the book and definitely had some surprises. The ending was predictable but well done and also was rather open ended. This is a book that was a fun, mindless read and if the author made 10 I’d probably read every one.”

Because why not? I mean, it just sounds fun, and it was. This book isn't going to win any prizes or literary awards but you knew that before you started reading the reviews. This is all about Navy SEALs shooting demons and tons of gore flying around, grenades being used against ancient Chinese terrors and Satanic Cults, etc.
Not bad enough I'd avoid book two, not good enough I'm going to go out of my way most likely to find and read it.”
