I was rooting for Samantha and Xavier the whole time, wanting to know how it would or wouldn’t work out!
There’s necessary depictions of dementia and the toll it takes on the patient and family-turned-caregiver, which is hard to read but great to see it be talked about.
Her writing makes it so easy to read through and picture it all like a movie, the dialogue is like normal people talking to each other, and the complicated dynamics people have with each other.”
