Publisher Description
A marriage of convenience, second chance Regency romance
A viscount’s vow…
For her hand—and her life!
Imprisoned for a crime she didn’t commit, the last person Meg expects to visit her is Jacob, her long-lost love, who’s determined to save her from the gallows with the vow he once promised her—marriage! But can a village girl ever belong among the ton?
Helping his new wife adapt to high society reminds Jacob of how different their worlds are, even if the spark between them remains untamed by time. But now Viscount, the pressure of titled life threatens to destroy their fragile union. Can Jacob show Meg that this is a life she can call home?
From Harlequin Historical: Your romantic escape to the past.

About Joanna Johnson
Joanna Johnson lives in a little village with her husband and too many books. After completing an English degree at university she went on to work in publishing, although she'd always wish she was working on her own books rather than other people's. This dream came true in 2018 when she signed her first contract with Harlequin and she hasn't looked back, spending her time getting lost in mainly Regency history and wishing it was acceptable to write a manuscript using a quill.
