“Most of the stories read like fanfic and I wasn't too impressed but three stories stood out and are worth the read: Brave by Rachel Hailey: A teaser really. Hanna, daughter of the Muse of Tragedy (Melpomene) finds herself in a predicament. Making it to Sanctuary after an encounter with a Daimon, she encounters the Were Hunter and panther, Kearse. I was disappointed that it was only a single chapter leaving the reader feel cheated of a full story. Still. It definitely hooked me in. Falcon's Delight by Cathy Graham: A lovely little short about Were-Raptors finding themselves being set up by the unlikeliest matchmakers. A Fox with New Fur by Kim May: A nice new twist, this time a story with a Japanese twist. Megumi is a Were-Fox on the run from an Oni/demon that has chased here from Japan to New Orleans and Sanctuary.”
“One of my favorite places in Sherrilyn's world is sanctuary. If you love the various characters that make an appearance there, you are in luck because these great writers will send you right back there with them. I am not a big fan of short stories because they usually feel rushed at the end but that is not true with these stories.”
