The valley was in dire need of help against flying monsters and an old forgotten hatred, which brought the monsters to life. This courageous adventurer finds himself caught up in a love of the land, strange new abilities, and a mysterious woman and her child. Above all, he manages to follow his adventurous heart and explore the exciting new world around him, while discovering Shangri-la is really . . .

About Richard Fenstermaker
Richard Fenstermaker was born in Marin County, California, in 1949. He graduated from Terra Linda High School in 1967 and joined the US Navy in 1968. He reentered civilian life to pursue a career in the electronic industry in 1978. He changed direction in 1985 to work in the landscape industry until his recent retirement. His talented and gifted adult children and numerous grandchildren have inspired him to write. He now lives in Santa Rosa, California, where he continues to write.
