“I am a massive King fan but this one didn't go in well. I read most of it up until the end hoping it would pick up but it didn't so I gave up without reaching the finale.
By that point I already understood who is who and what is happening. It wasn't too difficult to get but the characters felt distracting. There were too many of them and unlike IT or The Shining or Pet cemetery they weren't as exciting and I can't say I cared about their plight.
There is still a chance for me to pick this up again and give it a good go. Maybe not for a while but I am keeping my mind open. I want to read more of King's less famous titles for a while and then get back to the "classics" and popular stuff again!”
