“3.5 stars.
So this just didn’t hit in the same way book 1 did. Did have parts I liked but didn’t have the same charm as Santa Olivia. I liked how it gave an ending to everyone but honestly I liked how book 1 just leaves it on an open possibility ending of hope and freedom. Think that when Loup and Pilar were out in the ‘real world’ it lost a bit of the dystopian vibe of Outpost 12 and I missed that. Sure it was fun to see them have their adventures and get justice but just wasn’t quite what I wanted.
This book has been sat on my shelf for years so I’m happy to have finished the duology.”
