“I really liked this book, I don’t read a lot of thriller/horror so I’m not sure how well this measures up to others in the genre but I thought it was an interesting concept that I’ve never encountered before. There was a lot of gore and violence, as well as a bit of repetitiveness because of all of the driving, false sense of safety a few times, etc. but I loved the bookends of the beginning being Naomi at the site where Jack almost died, and them then ending up there together at the end of the book, confirming that Dee (and the whole fam) survived and is (semi)well.”
