Katie must balance finding a dangerous burglar with discovering the fate of a woman who disappeared five years ago. As she digs into both cases, she finds frustration in one and a slew of secrets in the other.

NOR SHADOWED HEART (#15)
Set in 2011.
A stalker is loose in the city...
Sergeant Katie MacLeod is struggling with her newly-appointed position. Being an officer was infinitely easier than leading them, and she misses the action. Meanwhile, her team is tasked to assist Detective Fergus Dow on a protection detail as a local celebrity, long a critic of RCPD, is being stalked. Katie must juggle this stalking with all the fast-breaking needs of patrolling River City on graveyard shift, and somehow manage to keep the situation under control... every night. It is an impossible task, made more difficult by her own reservations.
Somehow, however, Katie MacLeod will have to find the way.
