Publisher Description

Chocolate is the only good thing about this nauseating holiday. Ever since my ex cheated on me, I've sworn off love. Too bad my new neighbor Patrick didn't get the memo. I'm not interested. Although, he is pretty cute. And sweet. And funny. Stupid Cupid! Point your arrows at someone else. . . .

“It’s almost Valentine’s Day and Elyse is working in a card shop trying to sell some seriously hideous singing plastic cupid dolls. Last Valentine’s Day she walked in on her now former best friend and boyfriend making out on her bed, so you can’t really blame her for hating the holiday. Rhymes with Cupid follows Elyse as she tries to set up her new neighbour Patrick with her co-worker and friend Dina. The problem being that Patrick is interested in her. Add some a few little disasters and some suspension of disbelief and you have a cute love story with a happy ending. Elyse is a little serious and stubborn but narrates the story well. I did like the secondary love story thrown in for her mother. Dina is a little eccentric but comes across as a nice girl and I liked how her dedication applied not only to the Panda’s but in defending and supporting Elyse. If you’re looking for cute and romantic this book fits the criteria.”
