“Wow, well this was a fast read! I really devoured this book! I remember writing a review for Bal Khabra’s first book in the Off the Ice series, Collide (which was fantastic in my opinion) but in that review, I mentioned how I was a “Dylan Donovan hater” and that I wouldn’t like his book. After having read Revolve, I can now confidently say that I was wrong in my original assessment of Dylan and his characterization. Dylan may have been a bit annoying whilst committing shenanigans with his buddy Kian in the past but he’s truly a man with a heart of gold as I have now come to read about in his book. It truly was an unfair characterization on my part and I apologize to Dylan Donovan fans everywhere lol. Something I loved about this story right off the bat was how it reminded me of a film I really love called “The Cutting Edge”. The story of a troubled figure skater trying to make it to the Olympics with the help of a former playboy hockey player is one that will never grow tiresome for me. I loved that this book delved deeper into Dylan’s story and showed how he’s so much more than the “playboy type” of personality that he’s consistently shown to everyone. He really went to great lengths to prove to himself and to Sierra of all the changes he’d underwent for the better. And on top of it all, Dylan’s changes had helped and inspired Sierra in the process too”
