Now, thanks to their protected status, sea otters are making a comeback in California, Washington, and Alaska.

“You really can’t deny, otters are freaking adorable. Which, if I’m being honest, is the first reason I would pick up a book about them. But also I just really enjoy reading about situations like this where despite how awful humans are, animals can bounce back and with some help, get past the level of extinction. I learned sooo much about otters that I didn’t know and I absolutely loved it!! If you like otters I highly recommend 😁”
