From
#1 New York Times-bestselling author Marissa Meyer, comes a high-stakes world of adventure, passion, danger, and betrayal.

Secret Identities.
Extraordinary Powers.
She wants vengeance. He wants justice.

The Renegades are a syndicate of prodigies—humans with extraordinary abilities—who emerged from the ruins of a crumbled society and established peace and order where chaos reigned. As champions of justice, they remain a symbol of hope and courage to everyone...except the villains they once overthrew.

Nova has a reason to hate the Renegades, and she is on a mission for vengeance. As she gets closer to her target, she meets Adrian, a Renegade boy who believes in justice—and in Nova. But Nova's allegiance is to the villains who have the power to end them both.

Thinking Face“Sigh... another 3 star read this year. I don't even know what to say about this. I had high expectations because I love Marissa Meyer's other books. This just wasn't that engaging, characters lacked depth, lots and lots of setup and not as much plot. Instant romance was blech. Adrian has some serious hero syndrome and annoyed me for most of the book. I 100% called the plot twist at the end very early on. It wasnt a painful read, hense the 3 stars, just nothing super special. The things I did like was the diversity of the characters and Max. Max was like the one really interesting thing in this book. So will I continue? Yes. Will I like it? Man I hope so. Crossing my fingers the series will get better and this is just a typical first book setup kind of deal.”
