Redemption: Saving Our Town by Erica Brown & Ge'Khiya Brown digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

As in the book, Charlotte’s Web, this story also features several savvy characters who form a friendship bond to save the lives of their companions. Among these is twelve year old, Crazi Boui Palmer (aka CB) who is very determined to FREE his town from an evil spell! Actually, the overall plot of the story is very similar to the cartoon, Super Friends; in that no matter how evil the villain, the Friends would always unite, conquer, and defeat the enemy! It is action packed from beginning to end. It’s just a great read!

Erica went on to pursue a master’s of science degree in counseling psychology. She graduated with these credentials from Troy University Florida Region, also magna cum laude. Erica has been employed with the Escambia County, Florida School District for the past twenty-one years. She is currently a middle school guidance counselor where she is serving in her passion to instill life lessons of love, perseverance, and academic success to all of her students. Erica is married to Elder Grover C. Brown, Jr., and together they have three beautiful children.

Ge’Khiya Brown was born December 12, 2005. She is a thriving fourth grader that has a great passion for learning. Her favorite subjects are science, math, and language arts. A few of Ge’Khiya’s hobbies are ballet, soccer, creative arts, and drawing. She also enjoys singing with her mom, playing video games with her dad, skating, swimming, playing with her friends, and riding her bike. She is the primary illustrator of the book.

Both Erica and Ge’Khiya love God. They are Christians and are faithful members of their church congregation. They both sincerely believe that through God all things are possible. The message that they both would like to share through this book is that people can sometimes behave as if morals and values don’t exist. In about 7,000 words, they hope that a story of this sort will captivate the attention of others in a fun and innovative way while instilling everyday life lessons of genuine morality within them.
