“These stories were so fun! Even when they were dealing with heavier topics they were enjoyable to read. Think of it like tiny snapshots of sci-fi, modern day, and fantasy realms. I especially liked the fantasy section of the book, which makes sense given my usual reading choices. However, each story had at least one piece that drew me in. The foreword spoke about magic and that’s truly what is within these pages. It’s a diverse cast of characters and situations that worked well in this collection. If you’re looking for some diversity in your bookshelf, I’d have to recommend a novel of shorter stories like this one.”
“"Reclaim The Stars" is an amazing anthology of sci-fi fantasy stories written by YA book authors from the Latin American diaspora. The book is divided into 3 sections: To The Stars, The Magical Now, and Other Times Other Realms. One of my favourite authors, Daniel José Older, who wrote the Shadowshaper Trilogy, is featured in this book. Although I'm fairly new to the sci-fi fantasy genre, I decided to give this book another chance after reading the stories from To The Stars, and I'm glad I did. I enjoyed the following stories from the other two sections listed below: ‧₊˚✩ ₊˚”
