“ARC from Netgalley in return for an honest review.
The two main characters are very alike in that they don't trust people due to their past and so don't 'do' relationships, just casual sex. They both tell themselves that's all they want and won't admit to any more.
She is running away from a dangerous path and needs to avoid being noticed but still agrees to being part of videos advertising the fetish shop she manages. Why I don't know, she makes it clear she can't be tracked down or her life is at risk.
With books of this genre a brief plot and lots of sex are not enough for me, there has to be enough plot for the characters to develop and I didn't see this here.”
“I was asked to review this from Netgalley. I loved the way the book 1st starts out with the main character going back in time from when she was a little girl. Not knowing too much about her past at the moment, keeps the reader guessing all the time. The sex in the book is ok, but wanting to know more of the background of the other characters. How she met Mary her best friend, what secrets is Max hiding and what is the Fetish Queen up to.
All will be revealed in the next part of The Fetish Queen.”
