“I loved the first two in this series but this one was disappointing. I didn't care for any of the characters in this one. It was quite bland and I lost interest. I finished it just to say I've read the series. Unfortunately this one fell so short. The characters were boring and nothing really stood out about them. Her other series are much better.”

The worldbuilding was interesting, and I really enjoyed the unique setting beneath the surface—it gave the story a fresh twist. There were also a few action scenes that had me hooked, and I liked the glimpses of rebellion and courage in the characters.
Overall, this was a decent read with creative ideas, but it didn’t completely hit the mark for me. It’s worth picking up if you enjoy adventurous, fantasy with a touch of rebellion, but it may not leave a lasting impression.”
