Publisher Description

She’s Penna Carstairs.
The Renegade they call Rebel.
FMX-treme Magazine’s sexiest female athlete of the year.
There’s no rule in extreme sports she hasn’t broken,
No gender barrier she hasn’t demolished.

She’s the woman I met in a bar in Vegas.
The woman I illegally BASE jumped for.
The woman I spent one insane, incredible night with.
But now I’m screwed.
Or rather…not screwed.

Because the woman I can’t get out of my head is the one woman I can never touch again.
I’m Dr. Cruz Delgado—the youngest professor on this campus,
And Penelope Carstairs just walked into my class.

Each book in The Renegades series is a standalone story that can be enjoyed out of order.

“6+ “X-Game Worthy” Stars! I stretched reading this one out as long as possible to enjoy and savor every moment. (Which is hard to do with an action-packed, fast paced, AMAZING story! Rebecca helped a little with it being the longest in the series which meant more words for me!) I love this entire series and I just didn’t want it to be over. It’s hard for me to say which book was my favorite but this one is definitely a top contender! As I write this review, I am both completely in awe and very happy but also extremely sad. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not sad because of the book or the story. I am sad because one of my favorite romance series of all time is over. I have fallen completely head over motorcross boots in love with The Renegades. When it comes to the student/teacher relationship trope, I am very picky. I’ve only ever liked a few of them. This one tops them all. The forbiddenness and the tension has to be just right without leaving a scummy feeling or be over the top with drama. Cruz and Rebel’s relationship was just perfect. Their personalities separate from each other were amazing let alone when they were together! Cruz is the ultimate book boyfriend! He’s so swoony! One of the best parts about him is that he wasn’t threatened at all by Rebel’s strong and independent personality. He’s protective but not so much so that he’s smothering. He knows when he needs to be head strong and when to back off. Their chemistry was hot and the passion was not lost between the two. Rebel is so relatable in so many ways. She’s the lone girl with 3 guys as her best friends and is just as much of an adrenaline junkie as they are. Always keeping up with them, she’s a bit lost after her injury. Can she be the Rebel everyone knows and loves or will she just be Penelope? She needs the right man, not boy, to help save her but will she let him? What helps make this series so amazing is the cast of supporting characters. They are not just friends; they are a true family and they stick together no matter how hard it gets. While each of the books in this series focuses on one Renegade, it encompasses them all. They win, lose, learn, and grow together. Always. I do wish that Nick would get a story of his own. I fell more in love with him in this story and feel like there is so much more to learn. I know there is no plan for it but a girl can wish right?!? Maybe a novella down the line! *fingers crossed!* While I do wish for more Renegades, this was the perfect ending for the series. The epilogue was pure gold. I loved it so much! I think I re-read it 3 times after I finished the story because I was so obsessed with it. Note: Each of these books could be read as standalone stories but please don’t start at the end. Start with Wilder, fall completely in love with all the characters, and then watch as they get to be in the spotlight. Grateful to have received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. Few of My Favorite Quotes “You’re insane,” Cruz said, finally turning to me, those delicious, melty eyes swallowing me whole. “You know that right? Crazy hot --no, exquisitely beautiful-- smart, strong, and incredibly magnetic, but a little f***ing nuts.” “Regret is its own heartbreak, and I refuse to regret a single thing about you--about us.” “This was the pinnacle of the jump, the moment at the podium.” Quotes have been taken from the ARC and are subject to change in the final version.”

About Rebecca Yarros

Rebecca Yarros is a hopeless romantic and a lover of all things coffee, chocolate, and Paleo. She is the author of the Flight & Glory series, which includes Full Measures, the award-winning Eyes Turned Skyward, Beyond What is Given, and Hallowed Ground. She loves military heroes and has been blissfully married to hers for fourteen years.

When she’s not writing, she’s tying hockey skates for her four sons, sneaking in some guitar time, or watching brat- pack movies with her two daughters. She lives in Colorado with the hottest Apache pilot ever, their rambunctious gaggle of kids, an English bulldog who is more stubborn than sweet, and a bunny named General Fluffy Pants who torments the aforementioned bulldog. They recently adopted their youngest daughter from the foster system, and Rebecca is passionate about helping others do the same.
