“RAINY DAY KISSES
This book caught me off guard. The prologue and epilogue really bothered me at first because the whole point is that there’s a story within the story… which is not my favorite thing however, this was an exception.
I appreciated the romantic tension between Susannah and Nate a lot, and while I understand it’s supposed to be a short novella because this was another “two for one” arrangement, I really wished that Macomber expanded upon that tension a bit more and provided for a more satisfying conclusion between the characters.

This one is just… WOW.
This book is probably why I couldn’t rate the book a full five stars… it wasn’t bad, but there was just so much happening.
As a Christian, I can appreciate what the author tried to do here… but I really don’t agree with some of her theology and that really took away from my ability to enjoy the plot.
Additionally, there were way too many story lines going on in this approximately 200 page novella that should’ve just not been included because instead of adding depth to the characters it just served as a distraction.
Lastly, the title has absolutely NOTHING to do with the book… it’s a bit misleading which I think contributes to my disappointment with it.”About Debbie Macomber
