G.M. Taboas Zayas is a writer and editor living in New York City. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she is an MFA graduate who writes young adult fantasy and horror, loves chocolate, not-too-scary movies, and cartoons.

Yanitzia Canetti es una escritora, traductora y profesora cubano americana. Ha publicado más de 500 libros, en especial literatura para niños. Sus obras se han traducido al inglés, italiano, portugués, croata, búlgaro, rumano, chino, entre otras lenguas. A su vez, ha traducido más de 200 libros al español de otros autores, como las series de Dr. Seuss, Curious George, Amelia Bedelia, entre otros. Ha recibido numerosos premios y distinciones en el campo de la literatura y la educación—en 2011 fue elegida entre las 25 mujeres más influyentes del mundo hispano, por la revista People en español. Her works have been translated into English, Italian, Portuguese, Croatian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Chinese, among other languages. She has received numerous awards and recognitions in the fields of literature and education— in 2011, she was chosen as one of the 25 most influential women in the Hispanic world by People en español magazine.
