“This is Book#19 in the Amish Country Justice series but can by read has a standalone book.
This book grabbed me from the very beginning and the further into the book I got I could hardly put it down and stayed up late one night just to finish it.
Francesca (Fran) Brown is a forensic artist and is also the widow of a FBI agent named Sean. During a stormy night Fran goes outside and discovers a dead body of a young man in her yard and then gets shot at herself so calls the local police. When they show up Special Agent Tanner Hall showed up too. He was Sean’s partner. The body ends up being linked to a case that Tanner and Sean had been working on.
They locate an autistic Amish boy who witnessed this awful crime on the property so Fran and Tanner go to great lengths to protect him and find his family. Fran and Tanner had to deal with their pasts and while on the run they grow closer and fall in love.
I never would have guessed who was behind the whole thing and why.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. The review expressed here is my honest opinion.
Can’t wait for Dana’s next book.”

“This is my new favorite book by Dana. I have read all of her Love Inspired Suspense books and this one is superb! I loved the mystery of this one and the inclusion of the austic amish child took the story to a whole new level for me. A fantastic read!
I received a copy of this book from the author and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.”

“This was my very FIRST time reading a book by Dana R Lynn and it did NOT disappoint.
Francesca discovers a dead body in her yard only to then also find a young autistic Amish boy is out there alone, and SHE is being targeted! But why? Years earlier her husband was killed and while she suspected there was more to the story, she never knew why. Now someone was killed on her land, a young boy needs to find home and everywhere she goes shots are flying! Tanner, a friend of her late husband, arrives just on the scene to help keep Fran safe, as well as the young boy. But Fran and Tanner haven't seen each other since her husband's death, and its made being around each other a bit awkward. But as Fran and Tanner work to try to undercover what's going on they spend more and more time together and those walls start coming down. But Tanner is only there until this case is solved... and then he's going home. And is Francesca even interested in yet another relationship that could lead to heartbreak? Most importantly WHY is Fran being targeted and WHO is this little Amish boy that she found on her property... is it connected to her late husband's death?!
***Thank you to Netgalley for my advanced copy of this book. The review was all my own opinion.
