Publisher Description

No one was supposed to know.

With no other option, Tamara became a stripper to afford the fight for her son. When her brother's best friend walked in, everything changed.

Eddie's life was already complicated. Keeping his Irish enemies at bay and running the gentlemen's club left no room for distractions... or attraction.

When passion ignites amidst chaos, they try to resist each other. Mixing business with pleasure is a disaster waiting to happen, but if they keep it secret, no one will get hurt.

As bodies pile up, and the truth unravels, will Tamara stay by Eddie's side? Can he shield her from danger, or will he watch it all burn to the ground?

Prince of Clubs Reviews

“Victoria Jayne’s Prince of Clubs, the second installment in her gritty Dixie Mafia series, dives headfirst into the shadowy underbelly of Southern organized crime with a pulse pounding blend of forbidden romance, high stakes danger, and raw emotional depth. If you’re craving a dark mafia tale that doesn’t pull punches, think sizzling tension between a desperate single mom and a brooding club owner amid a hail of bullets and betrayals, this book delivers in spades. Following the explosive setup of Queen of Blades (Book 1), the author expands her world of Southern mobsters, Irish rivals, and moral gray areas, crafting a story that’s as addictive as it is perilous. Tamara is a fiercely protective single mother who’s hit rock bottom. With her young son depending on her, she’s forced into the neon lit world of stripping at a gentlemen’s club just to scrape together the funds for a custody battle. Enter Eddie, her brother’s best friend and the club’s no nonsense owner, a man already stretched thin juggling Dixie Mafia operations, Irish gang skirmishes, and the constant threat of exposure. When Eddie walks into the club and locks eyes with Tamara, the sparks aren’t just immediate, they’re incendiary. But in this line of work, mixing business with pleasure isn’t just risky, it’s a potential death sentence. Tamara’s vulnerability as a mom fighting for her child had me wanting her to succeed, but she’s more than a damsel in distress…she’s a survivor with bite. Eddie, meanwhile, is the dark hero…tattooed, tormented, and loyal to a fault, yet haunted by the bodies he’s buried (literally) to protect his empire. Rival hits, betrayals, and moral dilemmas escalate the tension, pulling you into a world where loyalty is currency and secrets are shrapnel. The Dixie Mafia setting, steeped in Southern grit, bourbon soaked bars, and humid bayou backdrops, feels fresh compared to the usual New York or Chicago mob tales. It’s not just about the forbidden heat between Tamara and Eddie, it’s a taut exploration of love’s fragility in a world built on lies and lead. If you devoured Queen of Blades (like I did) then grab this one ASAP. The cliffhanger ending? Pure torture, but the kind that has you searching Amazon for the pre-order of Book 3 at 2 a.m!! 🦋”
“ARC review Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 This was insane! I enjoyed every part of it! The characters made this book so good. There was so much drama and it was so entertaining lol.”
“This was a great addition to the Dixie Mafia series!! I absolutely loved Tamara with my whole heart. She was a single mom trying to make ends meet to provide the best life possible for her 2-year-old son, including going to school and working multiple jobs (one of which was stripping). I loved how she was so relatable as a tired mom who persisted and knew she had to rely on herself to make ends meet. I did love her relationship with her brother Jay, who was acting as a de facto father to her son and was always there for her. While he had opinions I didn’t always agree with, he was there living with them and raising her son as though he were his own, which definitely counts for a lot. And Eddie. I loved how in control Eddie was, how planned and precise he was…until he wasn’t 😉 I loved watching him fall ass over tea kettle for Tamara to the point of making rash decisions and getting into more sticky spots than he was used to. I loved his shaky morals in terms of what spicy things were ok to do with your best friend’s sister and what things crossed the line 🤣 Finally… MA'AM!!! That ending has me feeling things!!! I NEED ANSWERS!!! Thank you to Victoria Jayne for the opportunity to read this book. The thoughts and opinions expressed above are honest and my own.”
