“A lot of short stories. Not all are good, not all are bad. But some are very long for short stories. I don’t like when authors tell you a bit about the story and inspiration before you read the stories. My favorite in this is “Vanni Fucci Is Alive and Well and Living in Hell. I’ve always imagined heaven as the best thing you can imagine conversely for hell. So it makes sense that if you could manipulate our perceptions of hell, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad.”
