“This collection of short stories, celebrating Simon Brett’s 80th birthday, brings together an impressive lineup of Detection Club authors. As with any anthology, it’s a mix of hits and misses—some stories I really enjoyed, while others didn’t quite land for me. Many of the authors were new to me, and I’ll definitely be looking out for more of their work. That’s actually what drew me to this collection in the first place—the chance to discover new writers. Overall, it’s a bit of a mixed bag, but an enjoyable read. I’d give it a solid 3 stars. Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this Arc in return for an honest review”
