Pina Bausch - The Biography
ByPublisher Description
The first-ever biography in English of Pina Bausch: perhaps the most influential choreographer of the twentieth century.
Dance, dance, otherwise we are lost looks with affection at Bausch and her work, supported by many quotes from Pina herself, the press, her collaborators and her ensemble, Jo Ann Endicott, Lutz Förster, Dominique Mercy, Thusnelda Mercy and Jean-Laurent Sasportes.
As well as detailing her personal life, her choreographies, and her legendary work ethic, it takes stock of Bausch’s legacy and the future for the company she created.

“It’s a very good book, only that as a dancer I was expecting for more. My expectations was too high, it’s very journalistic cause as journalists wrote it. It’s missing a little bit of inside the dance o some movement.
But over all it sound much with my inner-self, my doing, the company where I dance, the pieces which I dance, is like I’m part of the Wuppertal of my country ❤️🔥💖”
