“Informative for sure and will be undoubtedly useful but felt dry at times.
Was disappointed to see that almost all of the images included were taken by men and then, when one was finally included by a woman, almost immediately her husband was also mentioned as responsible as if she requires support or as if the author needed to make clear it wasn’t just her. I am very sure there is the work of many women available for inclusion”
About Nigel Henbest
Nigel Henbest is a leading science populariser and writer specialising in astronomy and space. As well as writing over fifty books, including the bestselling Stargazing series, he has produced and scriptwritten many television programmes on astronomy and is a regular media commentator on breaking astronomy news. He has been a consultant to both the Royal Greenwich Observatory and New Scientist magazine. Nigel is now based in the USA and is a future astronaut with Virgin Galactic. Asteroid 3795 has been named 'Nigel' in his honour.
