“This book was one of if not the most amazing fantasy books I’ve ever read. I could not put it down or stop thinking about it. I loved the setting and the plot was perfect. It was fast paced and although it wasn’t a short book it felt really quick. There’s always something happening and all of the features imbedded into the main characters were fully covered throughout the story. There was clear character development of the main characters. The development of the relationship between the two love interests was beautiful. The affection and love portrayed between them had so much depth for a fictional story. However, some of the other characters lacked depth and could’ve been focused on more. Whilst the ending wasn’t what I was expected, there was smart links to other parts of the story and plot twists I hadn’t predicted which made it exciting. There were also parts of the book that were quite predictable but there was a lot that happened that went against my predictions. Everything was wrapped up although I thought that it needed something more to completely conclude what had happened. I thought there could have been an extra chapter on the main characters and their families and what their present life looks like. Because of this I couldn’t give it a full five stars. However it has been my favourite book of 2026 so far.”

“This book had a REALLY unique plot and setting along with the characters. I enjoyed this read, I read half of it like 2 months ago and I picked it up again today and finished. It was interesting and entertaining, I liked the storyline pacing, the blood shower *iykyk👅*, etc.., etc.., but overall I really enjoyed this. I do feel that there could have been more actual relationship building/depth but no book is perfect, and this was a good read for the first time in a while.”
