The Creeds' have a very typical, mundane, homely life, until a special kind of evil takes ahold of everything they love. The duality of the mundaneness and the paranormal is phenomenally done! It's almost as if the dark tales of the area slowly creep in and take over, so subtly that you almost forget it's a horror book, until you're swiftly reminded that it 100% is. This was deliciously horrifying!”alichannie
