“Persepolis is a beautiful graphic novel and a credit to graphic novels. I teach this in my Grade 9 English class, and the kids really resonate with seeing someone their own age deal with hardship. As islamophobia continues to run rampant, it is wonderful for students to see a very real telling of the hardship Iranians have gone through and their experiences.
