“Well, while I was reading this I realized I had actually read it before years ago. There were things in the book that I remembered for my first read.
I know many people don't like secret baby stories. It doesn't bother me all that much. The one time I had an issue with it was that the heroine was a complete bitch to the hero and I hated her. But that wasn't the case with this book. I liked both the hero and the heroine.
It was lust at first sight for both of them. They started a relationship and then of course, the h gets pregnant. She has reasons for hiding the truth from the hero. There are things that happen in the beginning of the book that make her believe she needs to hide her pregnancy. This leads to a heart-breaking scene when she ends things with them.
The hero finds out and it leads to a marriage which leads to some sweet scenes as they honeymoon on his big freaking yacht because of course he has one. Then a secret comes out and things blow up until love is revealed.
It was an entertaining book but probably one I won't keep on my keeper shelf. There might've been a time when I would have but my tastes have changed over the years.
I'm trying to read shorter books because I am far behind in my book count so there may be some other harlequins or other series romances showing up in my books read this year.”
