“Thank You NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for the Early Listening Copy of Out of the Shadows by Allison Brennan. This is the 1.5 Novella technically the third book in the Angelhart Investigations Series, I have not read the first two books, but was able to pick up on some of the characters from previous books. This Novella is vert face paced with action happening in the very first chapter when Lauren and her two children are run off the road and their house is broken into. You go thru the team trying to figure out if both cases are connected. When the Ex goes missing the story starts to fall into place. I will go back now and read the beginning of the series. Hillary Huibbor does a great job giving each character a presence and voice.”
