“I think this book really dragged for me so that’s why I can’t rate it very high. I thought the concept was interesting but I didn’t really connect with Mariel and I really don’t think she was someone I could root for. I understand her pain and trauma but I don’t think that excuses how she treats Dash throughout this book. I did like Dash but not having his pov sucked. Overall this was good just not great.”
