“<div>This book was fast paced and a really good time. All gas! I accidentally listen to this book without reading the other two in this series but it did not, at all, take away from my experience. Zanetti does a great job making the characters endearing and the world engaging from the beginning. I cared about the characters and I was hooked into this mafia-urban fantasy world. There is enough depth to the world building to pull me in but not so much that it felt heavy and hard to understand. One Shattered Crown was so fun AND super sexy. I will be seeking out the other books from this series after listening to this one. The performances in the audiobook were amazing to top it all off. </div>”

As someone who absolutely loves fairy tale retellings, One Shattered Crown, the third book in the series, was great! Rebecca Zanetti’s take on Cinderella felt fresh, unique, and unlike any romantasy I’ve read before.
The chemistry between the main characters was incredible, and the spice absolutely delivered. The action was fast-paced, exciting, and kept me turning the pages. I loved how seamlessly the romance and adventure were woven together without either one overshadowing the other.
What really stood out to me was how different this world felt. In a genre where stories can sometimes blur together, this series has its own identity. The twists, the plot, and the fresh spin on a classic fairy tale kept me hooked from beginning to end.
If you’re looking for a romantasy with fairy tale retellings, high stakes, great chemistry, plenty of action, and satisfying spice, I definitely recommend adding this one to your TBR!”
“This book was such a good read!! After the last two books, I didn't expect to like this one as much and yet... Justice and Ella were simply perfect from the start to the end. I loved their push and pull dynamics; Ella running away and Justice running after her. Like, yes girl, make him work for you😂The whole thing with the crystals is such a unique idea honestly, and I loved how smart Ella was. She literally managed to escape using wires; like that's genius. Justice was a tad overprotective. but he truly cared for her and was there for her everytime she was in trouble so that gives him positive points. The godmothers were such a fun addition to the story, what with all their matchmaking tendencies and blowing stuff up. The mentions of Rosalie and Alana felt so nice, and I loved getting to see the girl's happy. And the villains at the end had me shocked! I truly didn't expect that reveal.
Overall this was a wonderful book and thank you to the author and publisher for providing me with a copy!”
“The spice and tension in One Shattered Crown are top-tier! Rebecca Zanetti delivers a dark, dystopian Cinderella retelling with a brilliant tech-meets-magic twist.Forget the traditional fairy tale trope. Ella is definitely not a docile, sweet Cinderella, and Justice is far from a chivalrous Prince Charming. Their chemistry is explosive from the start. As a fan of both tech-themed thrillers and fantasy, I absolutely loved this highly original combination. It was unexpected and incredibly fun. My only critiques are that I wanted a deeper dive into the and gemstone-based magic system, and the cat-and-mouse chase felt a bit repetitive with Ella constantly escaping. However, her escapes did pave the way for some incredible spice every time she was recaptured, which completely made up for it! The high-stakes plot and neon-lit atmosphere kept me hooked. If you love dark romantasy, high tech, and forced proximity obsession, definitely add this to your TBR!
