“Noah and Twyla have always been best friends. When tragedy struck the Cahill family and Noah was the only surviving son. He couldnt take the sorrow of what happened and moved away to start afresh.
Twyla stayed in Charming and ran the family bookstore. Noah can no longer run away from his past and returns to Charming. As the two friends spend time together neither can help being drawn to each other. Will the festive season help these two to their happily ever after? “Great hallmark-esque Christmas book.
Lots of love and emotion. And a tiny bit of spice.
I enjoyed the friends to lovers aspect of this story. Especially with the added in loss of a brother that previously date his best friend. It added angst and depth to the story.
Charming is a small town and no town is ever complete without a bookstore at its heart.
Twyla is the typical small town bookstore owner with a soft spot for her best friend, the slightly bad boy hero of the story. Noah feels like he’s lived in his brothers shadow forever and has been pining for Twyla since they were teens.
Navigating their relationship together felt real and heartfelt. It’s the perfect feel good Christmas read.
