A New York Times Bestseller

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Julia Quinn comes the story of Gregory Bridgerton, in the final installment of her beloved Regency-set novels featuring the charming, powerful Bridgerton family, now a series created by Shondaland for Netflix.

GREGORY’S STORY

Unlike most men of his acquaintance, Gregory Bridgerton believes in true love. And he is convinced that when he finds the woman of his dreams, he will know in an instant that she is the one. And that is exactly what happened. Except ...

She wasn’t the one. In fact, the ravishing Miss Hermione Watson is in love with another. But her best friend, the ever-practical Lady Lucinda Abernathy, wants to save Hermione from a disastrous alliance, so she offers to help Gregory win her over. But in the process, Lucy falls in love. With Gregory! Except ...

Lucy is engaged. And her uncle is not inclined to let her back out of the betrothal, even once Gregory comes to his senses and realizes that it is Lucy, with her sharp wit and sunny smile, who makes his heart sing. And now, on the way to the wedding, Gregory must risk everything to ensure that when it comes time to kiss the bride, he is the only man standing at the altar …

“2.7 stars I actually liked both the MC's individually but them together was nothing great. I didn't like their romance . It didn't feel real love. Ok so before ya'll kill me hear me out. the reasons are: - When Gregory fell for Lucy's best friend he wasn't even intrigued by his heroine which kind felt weird because how will he make her believe later that now he loves her. -After Gregory lost Lucy's best friend to her brother he still wasn't half intrigued by lucy or there was no chemistry between them which was again off putting . - After he saw her in Hyde park after a month where she was to marry her fiancée, he still didn't seem interested in her or there was no tension at all although lucy was in love with him by now which was frustrating because only a few chapters were left and then he invites her to a party. -Now was the real icing on the cake because up until now he was not interested in her at all and all of a sudden sees her from the back and falls head over heels in love just like he did with her best friend but somehow this time it was different but I still didn't understand how. The only reason I gave this book 2.7 instead of two was because of the whole running to the church and begging and still not loosing hope thing.”
“I really enjoyed the banter between Lucy and Gregory, I do think that I would’ve liked to see more growth between Lucy and Gregory, more of him seeing all the flaws with hermione and all the things he loves about Lucy. Overall a fun good read.”
