“I’ve been making my way through this collection and been loving it. There is nothing quite as heartwarming and nostalgic as Winnie the Pooh.
I’m not much of a poetry reader but I enjoyed these. Possibly more than ‘When We Were Very Young’. I enjoyed the little moments where you see Pooh in the illustrations or included in the poem.
It was sweet how A.A.Milne said ‘Pooh wants us to say that he thought it was a different book: and he hopes you won’t mind, but he walked through it one day, looking for his friend piglet, and sat down on fond of the pages by mistake.’
My favourite poem was ‘twice times’. It read so satisfyingly.”
