“This is one of those that you must be in the right frame of mind to read. The author’s note at the end completely reframes the entire novel. As someone who has suffered from trauma, there was an instinctual ‘knowing’ I had about this one that touched a very deep place in me. I enjoyed it but it’s a tough read.
