“oh i really did not like this. moments of really stunning prose, and it gets one whole star for some genuinely terrifying scenes here and there, but overall very very contrived (and in my opinion VERY derivative, but to schreiber’s credit i doubt there’s a very high percentage of his readers that are doing a senior thesis about sentient architecture)”
