Rachel lives on The Avenue; well, above the laundromat she works at part time while she dreams and plans for Sweet Elegance , her bespoke pastry company. Trying to get samples done for a meeting, she is forced to take time to work at the laundry and there meets Nathan Strathmore, the scion of THE Strathmores, who seems to be above everything and everyone until he gets Rachel's dressing down.
From his best friend, he learns about Rachel and decides he'd better make amends. And from there comes a relationship that has it's ups and downs.
I really really loved this book. Author Sheridan Sayers has reworked the Cinderella trope to perfection in this first of a hopeful series. I have already shared this with others and can hardly wait for book 2. Highly Recommended 5/5”
